About Chef Paul de Groote

Paul de Groote once wanted to be a carpenter, but fell in love with the craft of cooking. At the age of 21, he started his career under the leadership of 3-star chef Jannis Brevet in restaurant Inter Scaldes, that in the 20 years he worked there earned 3 Michelin stars.

Paul draws inspiration from everyday life, from the kitchen skills of his wife to the cooking lessons he was taught as a child by his grandmother. A process that, because of his boundless passion for cooking, simply never stops.
